Reports that Blackface in his newly released diss song titled ‘War’ targeted at 2face Idibia accused the music legend of being ‘gay’
The defunct member of the Plantainshun Boiz group alleged that 2face engaged in same-sex intercourse as a sacrifice for his success.
He was quoted as saying, “Make I expose you for who you are, 201 know your story omo where I go start / 2Face since when them start to yansh you for back, that’s why you no fit stand straight, that’s what made you star.”
The song has since been met with criticisms and diverse reactions from Nigerians online.
While some have accused Blackface of seeking cheap fame, others advised him to pick up his dead career from the dustbin.

OSOGBO—GOVERNOR Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has described payment of taxes as necessary support to support the development of the state.

Speaking during Iresi Day, in Iresi, Boluwaduro local government area, Oyetola said that prompt and sincere payment of taxes by various categories of residents is an important civic duty, immediate implication of which is more available funds for government to undertake critical projects, including roads.

His words: “I congratulate our people in this town on another historic occasion. It is an annual programme, but this will be my first time here. Let me quickly say that your request for roads is normal. Our people across the state have been requesting same. A way to support government in actualising this is to pay your taxes promptly. We will do your roads, but pay your taxes”
Urging the youth to shun violence, cultism and thuggery, as these would compromise peace in the communities, the governor, in a release by his Chief Press Secretary, Niyi Adesina, explained that the event was evidence of promotion of Yoruba culture and values, which he said would be aided when history is returned to schools as teaching subject.
He said: “I want to warn the youth not to accept thuggery contracts from politicians. Parents should encourage their children to learn a skill. Today, if you want good and dependable artisans, like bricklayer, carpenter or tiller, you go to Cotonou. This trend must stop.”
He equally encouraged parents to allow their children and wards to acquire vocational skills, noting that the better way to cope in life is to have a vocation to fall back on, as it is increasingly impossible for government to provide jobs for every able and qualified graduate.

10 Injured, As Youths Disrupt Crusade In Niger

Minna—THERE was pandemonium on Monday night in Tegina,Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, leaving no fewer than 10 persons with various degrees of injuries after some youths disrupted a Christian crusade organised by a man from a royal family who recently converted to Christianity.
The man identified as Prophet Shuaibu Bashir, said to have been “born again” is said to be from an unnamed royal family in Sokoto State, and was said to have been organising series of crusades and converting many people to Christianity in the local government and its environs in the last few months.
His activities were said not to have gone down well with some Muslim individuals and youths in the area which prompted the attack on crusaders.
It was gathered that the crusade had gone viral because of the “wonders and powers” including healing of long time and chronic sicknesses among others, which has been attracting many people from far and near irrespective of their religion and thus propagating and projecting Christ in the area to the people.
Vanguard learned that just as the latest crusade was about to take off in Tegina town with a large crowd in attendance, some irate youths, whose identities are yet to be ascertained, stormed the venue and beat up the worshippers, thus forcefully dispersing them and thus ending the crusade abruptly.
Besides those that sustained degrees of injuries, all the vehicles numbering up to eight that conveyed the worshipper to the crusade were seriously damaged, while some motorcycles brought to the crusade by worshippers were stolen by the invaders.
An impeccable source told Vanguard that the organisers obtained permission from the Police in the area, while the Emirate Council was also officially informed before the commencement of the Assembly and wondered why the religious event should be violently disrupted.

Two sons who cared for there mother

The story is told of a woman who live in an old family house with his sons. She was a widow whose husband had died several years earlier. She single handedly brought up these two sons.

One day,the mother became ill. Her condition rapidly deteriorated, so her sons had to take her to the hospital. After queuing for a long time and going through. The initial formalities, she was finally examined by the doctor, who diagnosed her and then wrote some prescription.

One of the medicine her sons collected for her came as liquid in a bottle. The instruction of the pharmacist was: be sure she takes one teaspoon in morning,one in afternoon,and evening just after meal. And be sure you shake the bottle very well before you give it to her. The sons took the medicine and happily retired home with sick mother.

After dinner, it was time to give their mother her first dose of the medicine. One of the sons went for the medicine while the went for the teaspoon, and she drank the medicine. After a while one of them recalled that the pharmacist instructed them to shake the bottle very well before giving it to their mother the medicine but have forgotten to do so.

The younger brother was very fearful that their mother might no get well if they ignored the instruction of the doctor and the pharmacist. The elder brother had a bright idea to solve the problem. He took his mother by hand and insteucted his brother to take her by feet, and they lifted her up and shook her thoroughly.
